The New ITVS.org: Filmmakers, Welcome Home

Posted on October 24, 2016

Our new website focuses on you, our storytelling partners.

ITVS tear drops with portrait of boxer Claressa Shields, subject of ITVS film T-Rex: Her Fight for Gold.

The ITVS 25th anniversary celebrations continue as we build upon the new visual identity we unveiled earlier this summer with a top to bottom website refresh.

Our goal was simple: streamline everything to provide you — our filmmakers, partners, and supporters — a clear view of what to expect when you make ITVS your storytelling ally.

As we embarked on the website redesign, we heard from many of you that the excess of information on the old site made it difficult to understand the bigger picture of who ITVS is. So we sought to set the record straight. The new site makes clear that the award-winning artists, legal experts, marketing masters, and impact specialists on our staff pool their decades of expertise to take your film to the next level.

We also took special care to emphasize you, the artists who risk everything to bring untold stories the audiences they deserve. Say hello to new and returning ITVS filmmakers behind the boldest independent films in public media, discover innovative forms and new platforms for getting your story out there, and keep tabs on the work we’re funding today for presentation tomorrow, to find your place in the vital conversations fueled by our filmmakers.

While we’re proud and excited to welcome you to our new digital home, our commitment to provide you with the backing you need to tell your story doesn’t end with a new website. Say hello and let us know what’s working for you and how we can better serve you. Follow us on social media to keep up to date with funding news and opportunities to meet ITVS in the field.

We can’t wait to work with you.
