    Two years before The Wire’s David Simon launched his new HBO series called Tremé, New Orleans producers Dawn Logsdon and Lolis Eric Elie (now a writer for the series) produced the ITVS funded film Faubourg Tremé: The Untold Story of Black New Orleans. The moving and eye-opening documentary covers centuries of arguably the oldest and most fascinating
